what machine, what do you want to do, internal/external etc?


i mean, really there's only one that works well on a mac, and that's the Pioneer DVR-A03/A04. but the internal IDE drive will only work with iDVD2 on a G4 tower. i think formac might have an external firewire version that works with iDVD2 (with some special software included). OWC had some sort of enabler included with their external firewire model, but apple made them stop selling it. or you can buy DVD SP, and more drive options open up.
