In OS 9.2.2 I created a couple of .img disk images from audio cd's. When I try and mount the images, I get an error message about the volume being in the wrong format. I've also tried mounting the .img files via Toast in 9 and OSX with no success.

Any ideas?

Did you use ShrinkWrap to make the original images?

No, I used DiskCopy ...

And Disk Copy in OS 9 won't open them now? I just want to be sure I know which versions of operating systems and image software you're using.

Yes, indeed ... created the disk images in 9.2.2 using DiskCopy on a PowerBook. I then tried to mount the disk images but get an error. The OS doesn't seem to recognize them as valid disks.
