i was thinking of getting one of these for my audio needs, now that multi-track on X is looking a lot better than before. i was thinking about the audiophile 24/96, but i like the idea of 4 inputs and outputs, plus i don't need MIDI, since i have already 2x2. i saw on their site that they do have jaguar drivers, just wondering if anyone's used them...

I have one running at home. Haven't used it a whole lot moving to X because the software that ships w/ it is NOT X compatible (Logic Delta). It works with app that does core audio though. I've tried it w/ Deck 3.5 demo and it worked pretty much flawlessly. It's a little different to use on X than OS 9, but I think it's more intuitive under X, especially when you have multiple audio programs and want to share audio ins/outs between, ie reason uses in/out 1&2 while peak uses 3&4. It's a stable card and drivers. At least I haven't had any problems.

I do wish that I had spent a little more and got the Delta 66, as it has digital spdif in/out as well

One side-note: your computer will not be able to go to sleep with the card installed. I don't know why, but then I've never looked into it either.

The OS X drivers are working pretty well for me. I've recorded a couple things with it, and use it to drive my Alesis M1 Active monitors. I'm about to put it to the task, as Logic Platinum just showed up yesterday. Now I've just got to learn how to use that...

thanks for the replies, guys!

yeah, i'm thinking of getting the 44. i have deck on X, so it's good to hear that it works well with the 44. i'm pining for logic X, but right now, i think i'd rather blow my bucks on hardware rather than software.
