SVCD to VCD

I am looking for a program that will convert SVCD to VCD. The problem is that my DVD player at home will only play VCD format. Can anybody help. Preferably Mac Os X based program.

Q. Are the SVCDs in QT mpeg 2, .bin, toast images, or on cd?
