iMovie: changing NTSC to PAL?

Can anyone please tell me how to change my iMovie settings from NTSC to PAL?

I don't have OS 9 installed, only 10.2. I downloaded a Pal imovie but when I open it iMovie always changes to NTSC.

I deleted the iMovie prefs. (com.apple.iMovie.plist), but iMovie always changes to NTSC.

I changed my system to Britsh English, Brazilian Portuguese and Australian English, but iMovie always changes to NTSC....

Why is it so difficult?????

Sometimes I can get it to change by opening the prefs (in plist editor or a text editor) and manually changing that preference
blackmail is such an ugly word. I prefer extortion. the X makes it sound cool

If you use iMovie 3, you may try iMovieVSS .
