I'm following along with the PowerStart videos, learning Final Cut Pro 3, but I've got a question...In the video, they rarely have to render the video to watch it. Almost every time I make a change in my video, I have to re-render it. What gives?
I think it's just that dvcreators skips that step in their CD tutorial. I mean, do you really want to watch them render video dozens of times on the PowerStart CD?
The other possibility is that real-time rendering in FCP3 is only supported on certain hardware. If you're running FCP3 in OS 9 on a G3 300 with 64MB of RAM, well then, you don't get real-time rendering.
But my guess is that they just don't include that step in the tutorial.
