In attempting to move a iMovie folder to a newly formatted DVD, after about 30 seconds of copying, the transfer stopped and flashed me an error code 36 saying that some items cannot be read or written. Does anyone know why this is the case? It is an iMovie with transissions, sound effects etc. basically, the finished product. By the way, the entire folder was just over 1 GB so space was not an issue. Just to check, I also dragged other file types and they copied to the DVD window just fine.

Can anyone help?

you could try making a disk image with Disk Copy (in the Utilities folder), and then burn the image with Disk Copy
