Any recommendations as to good software package for making DVD labels?

You could use any graphics software to print on paper labels... but beware as I have heard reports that don't recommend paper labels as they can start to peel off due to high temperatures in DVD players.

My daughter bought me a label maker as a gift. It has file templates that fit peel off labels perfectly. It comes with a simple machine for pressing the label onto the disk. There are several kinds of these packages at the Future Shop and probably other good electronic/computer outlets. The most important thing is pressing the label onto the disk without wrinkles. The device does a great job of it. The templates that came with it were Quark files. I imported them into InDesign and everything worked nicely.
