when I look at a movie in the qicktime window, and want to close the window to the dock by doubleclicking it on the name, the animationeffect isn't smooth...I have a iBook 700mHz, 640mb ram...what can cause the problem?? is there any way to prevent the 'hacks' when the windows goes down, or pops up from the dock??? pleaze answer, cause I thought that more memory would solve my problem......but it seems not..

The new 1Ghz Powerbook might solve the problem.

On a more serious note, I'm running a DP800, 1.5 GIG of ram, 10.2.1. Quartz Extreme on a Gforce3 And I get the same effect. It's getting better with each OS revision though.
