DVD / MP3 CD? Can you Burn This?

I've been burning regular CD-Rs with MP3s on them in Toast as "MP3 CD"s and play them in my DVD player (which reads and plays MP3 CDs.

What I'm wondering though is if this also applies to DVD-Rs. Can you burn a DVD-R as an MP3 CD and play them in a DVD player like CD-Rs?
