I'm completely new to iDVD but I've noticed a rather unusual behavior.

Let's say you want to make a slide show of a folder of images. Cool. No problem. But you want the user to be able to control the duration of the image on the screen. Fine - just check the "display < > during slideshow" checkbox.

But your slideshow rocks, and thus needs music too. So you drag an audio clip onto the "audio" well. Unfortunately, this changes the duration popup to be "fit to audio". What happened to the manual, user-controlled? It's greyed out now. Bummer!

So how to make a slideshow with audio that is user controlled and not timed to the music?

TIA
