Does the quality of the video card influence the time it takes to render video or is the speed of the processor the only factor?

Thanks in advance.

Yes it does, If your working with a 2k images(film REZ) that will take longer than say web sized video, the more pixels you have the more time it takes for rendering. Also theres a factor with effects filters that you use will take rendertime, unless you havea realtime system.
REAL
With some loud music + a friend to chat nearby you can get alot done. - but jezz, I'd avoid it if I had the choice---- If only real people came with Alpha Channels.......:)

Graphics cards don't have any influence on the time it takes to render video. Unless the application you're using has been specifically coded to use the graphics card for rendering (unlikely), then it won't make any difference.
