I'm making a project in DVD Studio Pro with video that was imported and edited in iMovie. The iMovie plays back perfect. When exported "for iDVD" that QuickTime file plays back perfect. When I export that file to MPEG2 and it breaks it into separate .aiff and .m2v files and then import those into DVD Studio Pro, the audio get's progressively out of sync as it plays.

Each DVD project I'm doing has 4 45 minute segments. The video data rate is 3.0 and the audio is compressed with A.Pack at 256k data rate. I have tried this with several different video files and all have the same problem. It's out of sync in preview mode and in a burned disc. I can't find anything referencing this in Apple's Knowledge Base. I have tried this on 3 different hard drives (2 internal, 1 FireWire)

I'm running DVD SP 1.5 in OS X.2.2 and QuickTime Pro 6. PowerMac G4 933 w/SuperDrive (Pioneer DVR-104).

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Try exporting the audio and video seperately... I've never used iMovie, (I use FCP3) so I'm not sure what you mean when you say export for iDVD... if the file is a QT file, extract the audio track, and use a-pack to encode seperately from the the video track. If you want e-mail me and we'll go over this from the start.
Cheers,
