I am looking to attach my PowerMac 500 (Sawtooth) to my home stereo. I was looking at the ProSpeaker Breakout Cable. The Griffin web site states that the ProSpeaker Breakout Cable works with Digital Audio PowerMacs. My question is, does the ProSpeaker Breakout Cable only work with Digital Audio PowerMacs or will the ProSpeaker Breakout Cable work with any PowerMac?

if your mac only has regular audio out, as opposed to the funny plug that apple uses for their pro speakers (and which griffin uses for this product apparently), then this cable will not work.
