Yes, it is quite good. I was using the MacMPEG2 Decoder to transcode some MPEG2 video, and the video looks great. However, when using the same frame rate out as in, I get a longer movie file than it was originally. Then I can never get the audio to sync up with the video after re-assembly, no matter what order I put it in and add scaled, etc.
The vid in question is the "Mike's New Car" short from the Monster's Inc DVD. I have all the other shorts on my Mac and I was going to pull that one off for the sake of completeness. However, these timing issues have left me befuddled. Anyone have any ideas about how to get this to work? I don't have problems using Apple's MPEG4 for the same thing...but the 3ivx encoding is muuuch better.
