I just got a digital camcorder and I am playing around with iMovie. My camcorder connects and I can cature the video - my problem is with the scene breaks. I have the preference checked to start a new clip at each scene break but it does not work. Is it a problem with my camara? or iMovie? By the way, it is a JVC GR-DVL120 and I am working on a tiBook 667 dvi with 10.2.2 - also, I am using an external firwire HD as well. Can anyone help me out?

iMovie is looking for a break in the timecode track. Either your camcorder does not support it or you have not activated it or you have not the clock in your camcorder.

Thanks -I set my clock and now it works fine!
