I have a main server in my house running OS X Server. It has fairly massive storage. Right now when I mount its volumes, and play movies on it on my G4, they occasionally skip. Say every few minutes or so. This is a quiet 100base network BTW. The bandwidth is easily there, but its the wrong protocol. I'd like to set up QTSS, since I have it on here anyway, so I can stream my movives, only over my LAN though, right to my machine. That should not only make thing play totally smooth on my machine, but should also use much less CPU to do it. But I'm having trouble setting it up. I'm not really sure what I'm doing and the directions aren't much help (Server Admin.pdf). Also I always use full screen mode because I have a TV Output, so I want to open them right in the QT player, not from a web page. But clickable web links that open within the QT player would be ideal :-) Anyone with some expirience, please help me out.

Thanks
