I have a new 867 Mac with the RTmac installed for FCP3. All the latest updates to both products have been installed. When I import uncompressed QT video clips into the timeline, they need to be rendered because they're not in the same codec as the Sequence settings. However, if I change the Sequence settings, then titles do not appear in real time and need to be rendered.

Any ideas on how to do this right? Thanks.

Don't know the answer but you could try posting at the FCP 3 forum over at 2-pop
