Ok, I am still getting my feet wet with video and I don't know much at all, so keep that in mind.

I have been given an old (?) Miro DC 50 video card. It has this big plug board for S-Video and composite video in. Will it work in OS X? What does it do? Will it help render things faster?

I have rendered a divx avi's to MPEG2 and it is now in .m2v format. I stripped the audio out and it is in AIFF format. Does it need to be in AC3? If so, how do I do that?

How do I combine the audio and the video now? I have iDVD, but my burner is external and the video is 93 minutes, 3 minutes over. If that weren't enough, the sound and video are off..

Any help appreciated.
