At some point I'd like to get into recording on my Mac. Just saw the info on MacNN's news page and followed the link to M-Audio's info about their new Revolution 7.1 card. My question is would this sound card work with Logic Audio in OS X? Or does Logic need to specifically support the card? I'm not looking to do really high-end recording at the moment, but I am looking to be able to get a good sound, and to eventually move into more high-end recording as I learn.
i'm sure it will work. if the card works in X, and supports CoreAudio, then it logic will be able to see it. m-audio has been pretty good with X support, so i'm sure you'll be able to use this just fine with audio apps in X.
