I am having a problem with iMovie exported movies and their audio.

In iMovie, the movies sound fine and play normally. After exporting "To iDVD", I get audio pops in one part of the movie.

The strange thing is, I tried using a different song, thinking it was the audio source. The other song popped in the exact same place, so it must be with the video or the project file.

Audio is turned off for the video track.

The video clip that is playing while the audio is popping is sped up slightly.

Any ideas what I can do to eliminate the pop?

Using Quicktime, import the .mp3, then export using the "Sound to AIFF" setting. Use the .aiff file for your audio in iMovie. This works for Final Cut Pro as well.

Cheers!

Are you using OS X? I had the same problem using OS 10.1.5. It was suggested that I export in OS 9 and that worked, clean audio. I'm curious if this problem exists in Jaguar. I will find out soon when I upgrade.
