Hi guys!

I have many movies in mpeg format that i transferred to my powerbook from my PC. However many of these mpegs are cut short. ie: a file that was originally 20 minutes long appears to be only 3 minutes long in quicktime. why does this happen? how can i fix this?

thats very odd. I've never had problems with mpegs

How are you transferring the files?

you say "many". So I assume some of them are working.
maybe the files that aren't working aren't real mpegs or were poorly made by some 3rd party sw.
did you make them...or dl them?

i downloaded these on my PC using Kazaa. these played flawlessly on my PC. But with Quicktime on my Powerbook, they become much much shorter in length.
