Is there nayway to get the date stamp on a DV casette (ie the little text in the corner of the window which tells you the time and date it was recorded) to show up in the clip you import into iMovie?

Thanks.

Scratch that, at this point, does anyone know a way to tkae the date and time stamp off DV video and some how put it back onto DV footage imported into the mac. I've talked to apple and they claim that not even final cut will do this. I find it surprising that the ultimate vieo editing personal computer cannot grab the time stamp of the video footge its importing, please help.
