i downloaded and installed the new iMovie 3, but am very concerned at how slow it is on my machine. has anyone else experienced this.

i had planned to use it to edit some movies this weekend, but reverted back to iMove 2.1.1.

BTW, i have a g4/733/512MB. i downloaded it from the software update tool in preferences.

There's a lot of discussion about this in the Mac OS X forum. It appears to be a universal problem.
