just tried it out. while it looks good, and there are a lot more options, i ran into some problems, one of which was that my mouse pointer diappears when i play full screen on another monitor. i would try to click on the controller, and there would be no mouse pointer. it was still there, sort of; i could control the buttons on the controller, but i just couldn't see where i was pointing the pointer!

also, when this happened, if i clicked on the desktop to go to the finder, i'd get the spinning beach ball, and no system response. so my choice was spinning beachball in finder, or invisible pointer in vlc. then, i couldn't force quit, either by going under the apple menu (spinning beachball) or by keystrokes. had to restart. also, my dock is pretty unresponsive while vlc is playing a file.

nevertheless, it's still a great player! i'd put up with some bugs for a program that plays almost every freakin' file out there, and is free!

Yes I know. There is still some bugs. I ran into the same that you describe. I had to reboot once..
But I'm still quite impressed by the fact that it can read almost everything..
Hopefully they'll fix those bugs in the near future.

Windows media and divx play great. Does the pause button not work for anyone else, too? I tried to use the pause button to no avail.
