Hello all!

I am producing the video for my school's Hawai'i club luau later this spring. I was hoping to be able to have the final cut edited and presentable by the end of the evening. However, in addition to some stills and pre-event video clips, I would also have to include the bulk of the show. This would be fairly simple if there was only one camera shooting film, but as we use three, I was wondering if there was a solution to do this. I was imagining having the minidv cameras shoot film as well as input directly into three separate powerbook g4s and have those networked to my own powerbook where I could moniter the three cameras with software like Apple's Remote Desktop. So in essence, I would like to log the clips on my machine as the cameras are shooting so as soon as the show ends I can take the clips I want to use, insert them, and then render. I was wondering if this is feasible or if I am pushing for too much.

Thanks for looking,
SCUmacadvocate
