Sony mini-DV cam is on Apple's supported list????

I've got a Sony DCR-TRV30 that is only 1 year old and worked perfectly w/ iMovie2. According to Apple's list, this model isn't supported and I am having problems with it and iMovie3. When I am importing, if I stop the tape and then try to fast forward, it doesn't work (through iMovie3). Anyone have any ideas?

My Sony TRV25 has disappeared from the list, too. The first time I used it with iMovie 3 it was very erratic. I logged out and back in OSX, and since then it has worked perfectly.
