I know I posted this is the Lounge bus as I haven't gotten any responces, I thought I might try here.

I want to know the name/artist of the two songs that came with iTunes. I'm not sure which version they came with, but I remember that one (maybe both) was/were Christian, and I think, played on guitar.

Thank you in advance.

I think you're refering to the two songs that came with iPhoto.

The first one is Minuet in G, I unfortunately can't find the information on the recording..

the second one is Jesu, Joy Of Man's Desiring, performed by Leo Kottke.

they can both be found in iPhoto/contents/resources/Music/

(show package contents on iPhoto.app)

When iTunes first started shipping on new Macs, they included about 600MB of MP3s in a folder called 'Sampler.' There was a 'Tunes Sampler' and a 'Spoken Sampler.' This was later pared down to about 80MB of just music MP3s.

I don't think I have the sampler on my compuer any more, but I think I burned a CD of the Sampler before I deleted the folder.

The samplers, if the Mac originally had them, can be found on the System Restore CDs, IIRC.
