Hi,
I got 24 hours of footage from work and they want me to transfer it all onto a HDD within a few days. I will be using my Powermac 733 (Digital Audio) to do this.

I was thinking about going for an 80GB firewire HDD and a DV bridge a la Dazzle.

1) Will the 80GB HDD be enough for the amount of footage I have to be stored at a decent quality? What format would be the best to do this?
2) I have heard about Dazzle, now is that the best way to go? Is there any other device that can do this stuff better/cheaper?

thanx in advance,
doc holiday

An hour of DV footage takes about 12 GB of drive space. You'll need about 300 GB for the captured video.
