I'm looking for a music creation app, I'm at the beginner level, and want appropriately priced software. I have found some that I think would work(Micrologic, Cubase VST), but they are for OS 9, I'm looking for something OS X native. Any help? Recommendations?

check out reason2, runs beautifully in x (but is a musicmaking app only, no audio recording, ie no live vocals etc)

but it's an awesome, pro-quality app, worth trying the demo!
