Has anyone out there used the Cendyne avr 105 4x dvd burner? I read some posts before about people using this without a problem. i just bought one and installed it. After restarting 4 times after crashes and freezes, I tried to insert a blank disk so that I could try out the drive using Toast, however, everytime I insert a blank disk I get the prompt for Apple to initialize the disk or eject it, I choose initialize and it says it is unreadable. I tried to click record on Toast and I got this error message "illegal reuest" sense 0x24 invalid field in cdb. I am using a DP 450, OS 9.2, 1.5 gig Ram. Thanks for any help.

I am using the cendyne drive in a QS 733. This may not help much but I did not have any issues after replacing the original sony cdrw. I am only running OS X (10.2.3 at time of installof the new drive and 10.2.4 now) so that might be the difference.

for the fields, put in DVD-R recorder, Pioneer, IDE, PowerMac G4 AGP slot, OS 9.2

there's a person there who put the same cendyne drive, and had issues with 9.2, and he notes how he got the drive working. i think it has to do with the fact that 9.2 has no drivers for the DVR-105, because it's new.
