DivX 5.0.3 under OS X?

Is there a way to view DivX 5.0.3 under OS X, I have the Divx Codec 5.0 from Divx.com installed, and when I try to launch a Divx 5.0.3 avi file in it I get only audio and a black screen.

Is there any way to beat this?

Have you tried playing the file in the videolan player?

I just came across 3ivx, a codec that pops into the Quicktime library folder and supports my file. Thanks for your help none-the-less justin.
