I know Media Player is only at version 7.1.3 and that Microsoft hates Apple, that's why they haven't released version 9 for OS X yet. I was just wondering if anyone has a work-around solution to view Windows Media version 9 format files?
Don't tell me "just wait until Media Player 9 comes out" because that's not answering my question.

I have tried MPlayer, it didn't work. I'll give VLC a try, thanks for the tip.

Windows Media 9 is expected for OSX this spring. I don't think VLC will work for WM9 files, but I could be wrong.
