I recently installed a Cendyne DVR 105 in my DP 450 G4, 1.5 Gig Ram and it works fine with toast. I tried to upgrade to OSX and it gets halfway through the installation and unexpectedly quits. I tried 3 times to install it. I am trying to put it on a second HD, I am keeping OS9.2 as my startup OS and it is on my primary drive. The only reason I am putting OSX on my computer is so I can use idvd. Has anyone had any trouble installing OSX after putting in an after market DVD burner? Could this be my problem? I also have a Matrox RTmac card installed, I know that there are no drivers for OSX yet, but could it being in there prevent me from installing OSX? Thanks.
Quad G5 1.5 gig 12 inch PB Lots of other stuff.
