OK, recently I wanted to record my screen to VHS, I borrowed someone's s-video to rca converter, and it simply doesn't work. I am familiar with s-video out to s-video in I am assuming that the Display control panel should change but it does't. Yet S-Video still works... Now with the same adapter and video cable on a PC it works perfectly fine :-/ Any ideas? Thanks :-)

It's always worked great for me.

Could be a bad converter. Are you sure it is an S-Video->RCA and not an RCA->S-Video?

Did you sleep your computer and then wake it up when you connected it?
