I've got a bunch of old MADH and Amiga MOD music files on my drive that I listen to from time to time. I can't seem to find any good utilities for OS X that will play the MAD files, though. I know PlayerPro exists, and I've used it, but I don't want it badly enough to pay for it. I'm fine with a player like MikMod. I'd also like to get the files onto my eMate. However, nothing besides PlayerPro seems to know anything about MADH files. I just want to convert all of my MAD files to MOD files, so I can play them with anything I want and put them on my Newton.
PlayerPro will do the conversion, but again, I don't want to pay for it just to convert a few files now and then.
As far as I know, MADH is just a variant of the Amiga MOD format that's easy to store in the resource fork of an application, right?
There has to be something out there that will convert these. I've even looked at Windows apps (I have access to a PC) but the MAD/MADH format seems to be exclusively Mac.
Can anyone help me out?
