ok.. when i import my footage into imovie i can hear the sound playing perfectly.

once i've finished importing, and go to play the clips back in the timeline, i get no sound.

i've probably unchecked a vital box in the preferences or something.. but i'd like to know how to get the sound back!

(n.b. the sound is still there, cos i can export to quicktime, with the sound intact.)

and i'm using iMovie 3.0.2..

any ideas?

is a DV camera plugged in if so the sound is going to the camera
