been using iDVD this week for some projects. everything has ran relatively smoothly until now. I put 74 mins on a wedding DVD today after working on it all night (till 4:30 am!) and when it burnt, 10 mins into it, the sound was off by 3 seconds till the end of the disc. I previewed it in iDVD (and iMovie) and there is NO problem at all!!! Just on the discs. I made a couple of copies and they are all like this. Now since I have NO FREAKIN time left to screw with it, I have to stay up all night and do it all again.

My main Q is, since it is over 60 mins, would that have messed it up? There was also 16 chapters. Any thoughts before I mess up again and kill my firends iMac!!!

idvd is very .... "sensitive" with the material, you want to use in your project.

you did use imovie 2 or 3?

some users recommended, NOT to use the direct export function of imovie3 (the lil idvd button ont the right), but instead to export the complete project as an qt movie/dv standard.

then import this file into idvd & burn it.

btw. what is the content of this scene, the dvd stopps? some ken burns stuff? any kind of "effect"s scene? did you render your whole project before dvd-ing it?

sorry, silly questions, but idvd IS ..., no, i don't say buggy, it is sensitive

WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I did everything for a 2nd time and its even f%#king worse!!!!!

This time, all of the sound problems are NOT the same length in time being "off".

imovie 3. NO ken burns, just digital footage. There are transitions....ooooooohhhhhhh!!!

I did a direct import cause the other 3 projects I've done have been fine. Now this one, the one I HAVE to have done, screws me. I am beginning to HATE Apple.

BTW, burning at 1x with media. I almost hate to waste my time converting the "old fashion way.

I give up.

I'm exporting it back out to my camera all ready editied. Then I'll stick it back in and try it again.

Why dose everything in the world have to be so hard?
