o.k. this is what i'm looking for. i need a software app that will show and allow me to seperate each individual track. (IE, guitar, vocals, piano, etc...) and be able to make a recording of just a section of that individual track, so i can loop it.

example: the song by the cars, "dangerous type" i want to have a mp3 of just the keyboard parts.

all of the software i have seen so far either doesnt have the capability or i dont know where to look for it. i;ve tried peak, and roxio jam, and they seem more of a "make a mix" sort of software.

anyone have any suggestions (other than buying a professional recording studio)

audio on CDs, only contains 2 tracks. Left/right. All individual tracks are essentially bounced together into those 2 tracks. Much like many streams feeding a river.
Sorry
