QuickTime 6 with Final Cut 2?

I'm running OS 9.2 with various applications including Final Cut 2. I have Quicktime 5 player and all runs OK.

I would like to run QT5 pro so that I can export movies in different formats including mpeg 4 (with 3ivx plug in). But it seems Apple only does QT6 now.

Will QT6 pro work OK with FCP 2??

Yeah,I've got FCP 2.0 running with just regular QT6.I have QT5 & it's extensions in the disabled folders.No reason why the pro version of '6 should'nt work with it also.
