check the manual that came with the recorder to see how to import the clips. it should be a simple case of dragging and dropping the files to your hard drive.
if the recorder isn't mac compatible you'll need to connect the audio output of the recorder to the line in socket on your mac, and use a sound recording program to capture the audio onto your hard drive. i'd recommend sound studio. take a look at versiontracker.com for other programs. (these will all let you view the audio spectrum on screen.)
