Fruity Loops, ACID alternative for Mac?

Can someone give me some programs that are a good alternative to the PC's popular ACID and Fruity Loops, but for OS X?

Soundtrack, one of the applications bundled with the upcoming Final Cut Pro 4 is intended to compete (to some extent) with Acid.

i gotta buy FCP4 for that, thats a very expensive program

If you want to see Soundtrack as a standalone program, email Apple and let them know. Last I heard they wanted to hear that feedback. Here's a link www.apple.com/feedback/finalcutpro.html

You might look at Phrazer or Phatmatik Pro. Phatmatik operates as a plugin for a host system.

I would recommend Live, it really is such a cool program, however, you can't use any virtual instruments in it yet, thought you can rewire it to Reason and use Reason as an instrument.
