I had posted this in the lounge and thought it might be more fitting here.

So I was hooking my digital, Memory Stick equiped Sony camcorder up to my pb via firewire and had wanted to import the photos that were on the stick when I realised I have no idea how to accomplish this. Both iPhoto and Image Capture don't recognize the camcorder when I switch it to Memory mode. Does anyone know how to do this? Thanks

I believe for Memory Stick you have to connect through USB.

no idea how to read the stick within the camera...
BUT
get a cheap card reader (usb), sometimes you find a 6in1 reader,which is memory stick compatble. for less then 15$.......
