..imovie and idvd on pbg4 probs..

..imovie and idvd are virtually useless on my sis' new powerbook , imovie crashed TEN times yesterday nad idvd won't write a disk now..

..if she upgrades to fce and dvdstudio pro - will this make things ok?

..are they much more reliable ?

Do you have 3rd party memory in the powerbook. Forums at Apple list many cases where removing the non-Apple memory will clean up the performance of iDVD, iMovie, etc.
Go to those forums and look for yourself.
