Does anyone know how to create a .uni audio file? Here's my problem:

Uplink for the Mac has been released, and due to a limitation of the sound engine, if you disable the music it disables all the sound in the game. Many of the things in the game are very essential to the gameplay. I've come up with a solution, but I can't get one of the needed components. I need a .uni (a format of .s3m) audio file that is not empty, but instead is silent. Around a 300k file. However long a file that size is. With that file I could replace the actual songs and then use that as the music data file.

Melody Assistant can read the filetype, maybe opening it, editing it, then resaving will work?
