I do not even know if this is possible, but I have multiple episodes of Family Guy on my computer that I would like to get on one DVD disc. Is there any way to create a DVD like this, with a menu to pick the episode? The episodes are in DivX format... Thanks!

well, in basics: for sure this is possible, BUT

you need to re-encode your divx material into mpeg2, which is the standard for a dvd. (look for tool slike ffmpg at versiontracker or search this forum)

then you have to master your4,5, 7, 10 episodes to one dvd - you can use iDVD for this.

biggest prob is step one......

iDVD does encoding for you. it only takes mov files as input (or probably dv too), and you can quickly change your avi files to mov with Divx Doctor

Great thanks. I was playing around with iDVD last night, damn it is a source hog, but a cool application. Works well, quite simple once you get used to it.

I added a few avis, it takes a long time to encode them though. I guess that is what I have to live with using a ghz PowerBook, and not a faster PowerMac. Not a big deal though, still great to be able to do this stuff on a laptop.
