I want to convert a file I have to NTSC so I can burn it to a DVD. I know I could easily just change the frame size (cropping and scaling to 720x480), and "set" the frame rate to a different value on export. However, wont this muck up the audio? Is there a way to convert it all without screwing up the audio?

The file I have right now, for reference, is 768x576, 25FPS.

Try MissingMpegTools from versiontracker.com

This lets you select a file and then encode into mpeg2 with your choice of PAL or NTSC and plenty of other options. Just takes a while...
