Best DI Investment, Nikon 5400 or Canon G5

	I am looking to buy my first (and hopefully my last for awhile) digital camera, I want to go with 5 megapixel resolution; I want one that is robust, versatile and will last for at least 4 years. I have narrowed it down to two cameras, the Nikon 5400 and the Canon G5. I do realize that buying a digital camera is an investment and I don�t mind spending a little bit more, if that means the camera will last longer. The Canon S50, also looks good, but you can add lenses and filters. My buget is $500 to $600, buying the camera off eBay. Can anyone please help me out?
