Cheap or Free tool to convert QT .mov to MPEG-2?

Hi all,
Are there any cheap or free tools to convert a quicktime movie to a mpeg2 movie? I looked around on the web and while I found a commercial tool, it was quite expensive. Are there any cheap/free solutions?

Thanks man. I'll check it out. Apparently I d'led the ffmpegX divX QT component yesterday and thought I was downloading the full package.
