When I play the videos on qt, they have audio just fine. Import them into imovie and/or final cut express there is no sound. im using a powerbook 512 ram os x 10.2.6 imovie 3.03 and final cut express 1

in fce i click on the clip, item properties, it says it has no audio
but i can play it in qt and audio is there

yeah the files are mpg
mpeg audio is not supported?
